We currently have a full‑time position available for a Proposal Coordinator to work with our transportation infrastructure group. Ideal locations include Tampa, FL; Lexington, Columbia, MD; SC; North Charleston, SC; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; Washington, DC; Madison, WI.
Responsibilities:
Developing marketing materials and content
Driving the proposal development process
Leading proposal kickoff meetings
Strategizing to create marketing plans
Identifying key publications and award submissions for the group
Developing and managing the annual marketing plan, schedule, and budget
Offering input and guidance on project and team selection for proposal pursuits
Coordinating business development calls and providing appropriate reports
Attending tradeshows and conferences
Tracking client feedback and satisfaction surveys
Some travel may be required for conferences, events, and team training.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
An associate degree in marketing or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
No degree but at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience in architectural/engineering industry or another technical service industry is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
Leading proposal submissions (RFP/RFQs) and interview teams
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; and CRM databases (Vision or AEC360 preferred)
Previous experience in the AEC industry: familiarity with Transportation/Infrastructure
Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Excellent grammar and writing skills required (Familiarity with AP Style Guide)
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, continuously changing environment while maintaining tight deadlines
Proven organization, problem solving, communication, and interactive skills
Ability to understand and write about technical issues and understand related technical terminology
