What You'll Do
Greet customers with a smile and provide answers to their questions.
Lead employees and oversee the daily operations of the produce department.
Delegate responsibilities and supervise produce department operations.
Train the team in store policies, procedures, and customer service techniques.
Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and ensure performance standards are met.
Establish and achieve business and profit objectives for the produce department.
Maintain inventory levels by ordering stock when necessary to meet customer demand.
Analyze sales figures to oversee the financial performance of the produce department.
Assist in developing new concepts to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, tidy produce department, ensuring signage and displays are attractive.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth store operations.
Resolve conflicts or complaints from customers and employees within the produce department.
Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of the company.
