Senior National and Key Account Sales Consultant
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is looking for a Senior National and Key Account Sales Consultant to coordinate the enrollment, servicing and retention of Association Health Plans and National and Key Accounts. The role works under the Manager AHP and National/Special Accounts and may be onsite or hybrid, requiring at least 9 days per month on site. Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate. Responsibilities
Act as the Sales Consultant for Association Health Plans, including on‑site activities throughout Kansas. Conduct employee meetings during open enrollment and as requested by the associations. Prepare Association renewals, field communication summaries, and submit timely reports to the association. Provide ongoing education to keep clients informed about our products. Serve as backup for coordinating communication between BCBSKS, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans, and Third‑Party Administrators for National and Key Accounts. Serve as backup Inter‑Plan Programs Sales contact for BCBSKS. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve claim issues involving other Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans for National Accounts. Coordinate with internal divisions for new benefit installations and administrative procedures for Association Health Plan Accounts. Manage BCBSKS response to Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal issued by Association Health Plans. Coordinate enrollment of new Association Health Plan groups with internal operating departments and field staff. Oversee resolution of claim issues involving other BCBS Plans for Association Health Plans. Maintain compliance with corporate compliance program and maintain confidentiality. Provide employee benefit consultative services to prospective and existing clients. Develop strategies for overcoming commercial competition. Assist in developing marketing strategies for new product offerings. Contribute to the development of plan‑wide objectives and methods, including special project assignments. Qualifications
Knowledge of public relations, human relations and ability to motivate people. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts and develop sound financial business cases. Ability to develop and evaluate. Benefits
