Position
ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT MANAGER
Responsibilities Partner with Sales to focus on overall relationship with a group of Fastly’s largest and most complex clients.
Develop and execute comprehensive account strategy, attaining buy-in and alignment from the customer.
Map a complex organization, develop and execute against a strategy, and establish strong connections with executive stakeholders across multiple business units and levels within a company.
Create long-term retention strategies that maximize Fastly value and tie conversations to business impact.
Lead internal account team strategy, ensuring alignment on approach, status, renewals, and required actions.
Delight customers by demonstrating responsiveness and timely communication.
Proactively engage and influence internal and external partners, using consultative discussions to uncover customer pain points and show how Fastly can address them.
Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for customer growth.
Establish joint success plans based on goals, stakeholders, and business impact.
Develop and execute Quarterly Business Reviews within the assigned client base.
Collaborate with product, marketing, client services, and sales teams to provide the voice of the customer internally and become the go-to expert on the customer.
Share knowledge of industry trends and solutions.
Handle emergency tickets as needed to coordinate internal response.
What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
At least 5 years of enterprise customer management experience in a technology firm.
Strong project management skills, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities; experience in developing and implementing multi-step plans and coordinating parties.
Ability to multitask and adjust priorities; capable of delivering customer-facing and internal projects on time with high quality.
Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to tailor messaging and ensure cross-functional visibility.
Strong customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor; willingness to have hard conversations and renewal negotiations.
Nice to Have Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to address client challenges.
Collaborative partner who can contribute ideas and advocate internally.
Technical background valued: ability to discuss technical benefits and understand how a solution fits into the tech ecosystem; willingness to learn new products/features.
Work Hours This position requires availability during core business hours.
Work Location & Travel
This position is remote and open to candidates residing in the US. May require travel as needed by the role or requested by the manager.
Salary
The estimated range for On-Target Earnings for this role is $125,573 to $150,687. On-Target Earnings consist of a combination of annual base pay and sales compensation variable target. The standard pay split is 75% base / 25% variable. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This role may participate in Fastly’s global sales compensation plan and equity program.
