The Retail Pharmacy Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for developing durable business, deepening collaboration with Retail Pharmacy Field Leaders and growing appropriate use of Pfizer Primary Care Retail Pharmacy products. This is accomplished by identifying shared objectives, aligning resources, and deploying innovative solutions to achieve targeted business results. The RAM’s primary focus is to ensure access to the Pfizer retail pharmacy portfolio through the development of productive relationships with Retail Pharmacy field leaders to support mutually aligned goals through projects and educations that drive operationalization. Additionally, the RAM will engage diverse local stakeholders, combining innovative thought, entrepreneurial business acumen, and account management skills. This candidate will need to work with highly matrixed organizations at Pfizer and its Retail customers. This position reports to the National Pharmacy Business Director (NPBD) and must collaborate closely with the Retail Trade Account Director (TAD), Sales and Account colleagues, Marketing & CCG, Medical and Legal and Compliance to plan and implement activities to achieve national, regional and district Pfizer goals and objectives.* Initiate and cultivate relationships with key retail pharmacy field leaders (decision makers and influencers) within the target customers such as Divisional Vice Presidents or equivalent, Retail Pharmacy Regional & District Leaders, Clinical Directors, Field Clinical Trainers, Field Operations, and other field pharmacy leaders outside the HQ offices who implement chain HQ direction to implement retail pharmacy-based programs* Leverage Pfizer’s value proposition to create mutually beneficial business opportunities that result in action and outcomes* Identify, connect and communicate multiple insights from various stakeholders to develop a plan of action that is mutually beneficial to Pfizer and the customer* Seek out opportunities for synergy and collaboration to achieve both Pfizer and Retail Pharmacy customer goals through active and transparent customer planning* Develop a tailored account management approach to each account based on their needs and adapt in response to evolving markets* Prioritize retail customers opportunities and projects to maximize impact; leveraging all available internal data sets and stakeholder maps (to include Watchtower) input to optimize decision making* Train and compliantly share externally-facing performance data with approved Retail Pharmacy Field Leaders* Use customer-facing Population Health Discovery Tool (PHDT) to share geographic & demographic immunization opportunities* Conduct expert account planning and practice effective project management using Pfizer Account Management resources (i.e. Valkre, etc.)* Implement and measure impact of customer-aligned Projects and Educations* Identify & prioritize top Retail areas to progress the Operationalization process and track the progress of these targeted areas (Communication, Education, Patient Identification, Execution, and Stocking)* Employ strong pre-account management planning, effective presentation to focused and productive questions, as part of effective solutions-oriented project plans* Generate sustained immunization initiatives with Retail pharmacy field leaders by successfully aligning Pfizer RC-approved resources to a customer’s immunization programs* Use latest RC-approved educational content and resources to address needs of customers* Implement pull through with effective project management to include field leader education and patient identification through workflow engagement tools* Facilitate internal sharing of chain best practices in patient identification, workflow, and counseling* Analyze and monitor key market trends, competition, past customer interactions, and other market data to maximize effectiveness of each account interaction* Complete Full Account Management Curriculum Training, as well as Retail Pharmacy specific training* Execute marketing programs across customer segment and present RC-approved materials to deliver value added messaging in a compelling manner; developing and executing projects that are strategic in nature and may have near, mid, and long-term market and business impact* Operate in a team environment that encourages innovative ideas and a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Be adept at creating a vision for the future and be able to create a pathway to help optimize the customer’s vaccination opportunities in a compliant and engaging way* Align with Retail Trade Account Director (TAD) to ensure appropriate understanding of, and support for Retail Pharmacy goals (i.e., brand and customer)* Collaborate with local Sales ABMs to navigate a complicated internal matrix that aligns their HSS teams to drive pull through* Drive customer centric focus overarching account value versus product specific, understand and address what influences prescribing and purchasing (or stocking) decisions* Contribute to internal customer plans in collaboration with TAD. Impact and influence development of RAM strategies by partnering with needed cross functional teams to compliantly shape efforts and deliver results* Work with TAD to understand the strategic plan for each of the target customer, and the implications for how to prioritize and implement the plan in each geography.* Utilize organizational awareness skills and alignment of Pfizer's priorities to include appropriate Pfizer colleagues with a Retail Pharmacy to optimize value provided to the Customer and to Pfizer* Provide the marketing and strategy teams with key geographic and customer specific insights that they can utilize in crafting new market-specific materials* Appropriately and compliantly communicate and collaborate with cross-functional field-based colleagues (Sales, Medical, PCA, Government Relations, etc.) to ensure appropriate engagement with geographic Retail Pharmacies* Partner with Pfizer stakeholders to facilitate colleague understanding of local market/customer drivers. Responsible for pull through at the highest customer geography level working across One Pfizer to pull through tactics and drive appropriate utilization* Share and help scale proven practices across the region and nation* The candidate should expect to meet with their customers both live and virtually as needed. Customer interactions may also include promotional exhibit opportunities* Comply with all Corporate Policies and Procedures, while conducting all job-related activities with integrity and adherence to Pfizer’s high standards of business conduct* *Required:* Bachelor’s Degree. Advanced degree in a related field preferred* *Required:* 5+ years pharmaceutical or retail-related experience – combination of sales and marketing in pharmaceuticals or related industries* *Preferred:* Prior account management experience in retail pharmacy or large organized customers* Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
