Objective of this positionButter: The Compliance Specialist oversees regulatory and compliance aspects of the company to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and industry regulations and completes any required registrations and documents over aspects of the company: HR, accounting, Quality, Export Compliance. The position develops, maintains and updates internal policies and procedures to support the company’s focus on providing exceptional experience with its customers, internal & external. The Compliance Specialist identifies needed training, ensures the training takes place and verifies/records the training to ensure all employees are current based on the job function.
Maintain all registrations for federal, state, and local requirements.
Submit documents to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
Maintain the company's quality system records and administer reviews and audits as applicable.
Review, update, and ensure that the training is completed to new quality documents.
Keep current on regulatory requirements for export compliance, cybersecurity, safety, and HR regulationsstep.
Review, organize and maintain key company documents such as NDA, contracts, distributor agreements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a highly regulated industry.
Fluent in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Effective communication at all levels of the business, internal team and regulatory organizations.
Highly organized and focused on accuracy with attention to detail.
Follow through and meets all deadlines.
Collaborator who supports the growth of others and the company.
Inquisitive, seeking ways for continuous improvement.
Agree to 5 days a week onsite work.
