AISC Certified Structural Steel Fabricator & Erector

In this key role, you'll be the strategic mind behind bidding on diverse, high-profile projects from schools and hospitals to commercial landmarks. With an industry leader that's actively expanding into a new facility, your estimates will directly fuel our growth and shape the built environment in your community.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Analyze and interpret complex construction plans, specs, and drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel.
Prepare comprehensive estimates by identifying material, equipment, and labor costs.
Communicate directly with general contractors, owners, and architects to clarify project scope.
Source and negotiate with vendors and distributors to establish accurate material pricing.
Utilize specialized steel estimating software (Tekla PowerFab experience is a major plus).
Manage multiple bid packages simultaneously, ensuring timely and competitive submissions.
Must-Have: 3+ years of experience estimating
structural steel fabrication and erection .
Proficient in reading and understanding all construction plans and drawings.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with Tekla PowerFab or similar software (e.g., FabTrol) is highly desirable.
An analytical and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
A degree is preferred but not required; proven experience is key.
