Job Overview The Relationship Manager supports financial advisors by managing operational and administrative tasks that allow advisors to focus on client relationship-building and financial planning. This role takes ownership of client onboarding, account maintenance, and coordination across teams to deliver an efficient, client-centric experience while ensuring seamless operational execution.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Office AUM Goal – Set annually at office level
Team Retention Rate: 98%+
SF Data Integrity – Office remains Growth Certified (data-only impact for RM)
Primary Duties / Key Responsibilities
Assist financial advisors with administrative tasks, coordinating client communications, and managing client accounts.
Take ownership of day-to-day operational tasks, including processing account transactions, coordinating portfolio updates, and resolving client service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with internal teams such as compliance, investment operations, and client service departments to ensure efficient execution of client activities.
Maintain accurate client records, manage CRM data, and generate reports to support advisors in tracking client activity, portfolio performance, and service delivery.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and preferences.
Identify opportunities for client growth and new business.
Stay informed on financial market trends and regulatory changes.
Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, conducting due diligence on prospective clients and implementing risk mitigation measures.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
Working toward Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation may be preferred.
Previous experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry is highly desirable, particularly in wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory.
Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
