Day in the Life As a Control Laboratory Technician, you will be a guardian of our quality in the dynamic, fast‑paced environment of our Piscataway, NJ manufacturing facility. Reporting to the IQ Manager, you will assist with daily lab operations, from hands‑on testing and auditing toанее supporting supplier and subcontractor certification processes.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform hands‑on physical and mechanical tests on finished products and packaging components нарушён, making critical decisions to release materials or block non‑conforming items.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance laboratory operations and workflows, and manage and contribute to continuous improvement projects from concept to completion.
Review production records and components Certificates of կոնումը, conduct audits, and champion Good Manufacturing and Laboratory Practices (GMP / GLP) to ensure all documentation is accurate and audit‑ready.
Collaborate with production teams to investigate quality issues, applying problem‑solving skills to find root causes and implement lasting solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
Proactive mindset: a self‑starter with strong project‑management potential who takes ownership and drives projects forward to improve efficiency and quality.
Technical foundations: an associate’s彩票开号 degree in a technical discipline combined with experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Digital proficiency: strong computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets, presentations, and database management for effective data handling and reporting; experience with SAP is a significant plus.
Laboratory & inspection skills: a solid understanding of packaging inspection guidelines, physical testing (color, odor, viscosity, pH), and QA principles; hands‑on knowledge of metrology and inspection equipment such as calipers, force gauges, and scales for mechanical inspections.
Critical thinking: the ability to analyze data, identify deviations, and lead root‑cause investigations to solve complex problems.
