Technical Advisor II
B&W Energy Services, Inc. has an opening in Deer Park, TX for a Technical Advisor II in the field and office to execute steam blows, air blows, high velocity flushing, pulse flushing, chemical cleaning, pigging. Project site management of B&W equipment and material inventory. Direct client interaction and advisement on project status and write technical reports. Client craft labor interaction for B&W equipment hookup and verification of that. Hookup design modifications as required based upon unique site conditions. Accurate documentation of field activities in project job log. Timely communication with home office. Interpreting P&Id’s and isometric drawings. Changing mechanical seals on centrifugal pumps. Performs some technical oversight of processes at the job site. Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires 2 years of experience in the job offered, Manager, or related. Qualifications
2 years must include experience with:
Interpreting P&Id’s and isometric drawings; Titrating iron concentration, free citric acid during a chemical cleaning execution; Calculating CFR (Cleaning force ratio) during Steam blow execution; Routing piping and developing a bill of materials; Reading pump performance curves; ASME pipe and fittings, flange ratings, pipe thickness, and gaskets; Changing mechanical seals on centrifugal pumps; Writing technical reports.
