Job Description: Join the Seminole Hard Rock Gaming and Hospitality team as a Management Trainee I with a focus on preparing members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida for a career within the industry.

The Tribal Career Development – Management Trainee I position will be staffed with Seminole Tribe members and will include on‑the‑job technical training, specialized classroom training, seminars, workshops, mentoring, and work experience.

The program lasts two to three years depending on the trainee’s background and progression.

Responsibilities

The trainee will learn from a blend of on‑the‑job technical training, specialized classroom training, seminars, workshops, mentoring, and work experience.

Placement may occur at any of six specified locations: Seminole Casino Brighton, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Casino Hollywood (Classic), Seminole Casino Immokalee, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino – Hollywood, or Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino – Tampa.

Certain training elements require a portion at the Tampa or Hollywood Hotel and Casino.

Qualifications & Work Environment

Regularly required to stand, walk, and maintain high mobility throughout the shift.

Must handle customer directions, work in varying noise levels, and navigate diverse flooring surfaces, including slippery or sloping areas.

Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception; exposure to bright or dim lighting, flashing lights, and screens is common.

Must be capable of bending, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment up gestores of 100 lbs.

Employees may be exposed to bodily fluids, animals, odors, tobacco smoke, and may need to use de‑escalation techniques or assist in evacuation during emergencies.

Preferred Experience Prior hospitality or casino experience is advantageous but not required.

This role is part of a tribal career development program that gives preference to members of the Seminole Tribe and other federally recognized Native American tribes.

Required

Gaming licensure obtained by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations.

Background checks may include credit verification, criminal background check, and drug screening.

Closing The Tribal Council gives preference to Native Americans in all employment practices.

First preference is given to Seminole Tribe members who meet the job requirements; second preference is given to other federally recognized Native American tribes.
