Warranty Manager
Reports To : Director of Operations / Service / Quality (as applicable)
Position Summary
The Warranty Manager is responsible for leading all warranty-related activities, including field installation coordination and warranty service execution for engineered products. This role is based onsite at the Rincon, GA manufacturing plant and serves as the central owner of warranty claims, field service workflows, and referring support.

Key Responsibilities Warranty & Service Management
Own the end-to-end warranty process, including claim intake, evaluation, approval, execution, and closure.
Serve as the primary internal and external point of contact for warranty-related issues.
Ensure warranty claims are processed in accordance with company policies, contractual terms, and service standards.
Track, analyze, and report warranty costs, trends, and recurring issues.
Field Installation Coordination
Coordinate field installation activities, including scheduling, contractor alignment, and site readiness.
Act as the liaisonطات between customers, field technicians, installation contractors, and internal plant teams.
Ensure installations comply with engineering specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Support pre-installation planning to reduce installation errors and downstream warranty claims.
Field Service Execution
Manage and support field service partners performing warranty repairs and post-installation service work.
Ensure timely dispatch, clear scope definition, and effective resolution of field service issues.
Review field service reports, validate work performed, and authorize warranty repairs or replacements.
Escalate complex technical issues to Engineering and Quality teams as needed.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering and Quality to identify root causes of field failures and drive corrective actions.
Partner with Manufacturing to improve build quality and reduce repeat warranty claims.
Support Sales and Customer Service with guidance on warranty coverage and installation expectations.
Provide structured feedback to improve product design, installation documentation, and service procedures.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Develop and maintain warranty policies, procedures, and service documentation.
Create dashboards and reports tracking warranty claims, response times, installation issues, and costs.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing warranty exposure and improving field performance.
Support audits and compliance activities related to safety孙..
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in warranty management, field service, installation coordination, or technical service roles.
Experience supporting complex, engineered, or industrial products.
Strong understanding of warranty terms, service contracts, and customer service principles.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred
Experience in electrical, power, transformer, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or field service management systems.
Experience managing third‑party service providers and contractors.
Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent customer communication and issue‑resolution abilities
Technical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills
Ability to work cross‑functionally in a plant‑based environment

Working Conditions
Fully onsite role based at the Rincon, GA manufacturing plant.
Regular coordination with field teams and customers across multiple regions.

Occasional off‑hours support during critical installations or service events.
