Position Overview The Contractor Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the entire network of over 1,600 contractors is compliant with all licensing, insurance and technician background checks/drug screenings. This position will capture, evaluate and monitor the overall compliance of the contractor network including contractor profile system maintenance and reporting in SalesForce and with our compliance vendor, PlusOne Solutions. This position will serve as main contact and facilitator of all contractor compliance initiatives and lead for all compliance reporting needs.

Responsibilities

Capture, evaluate, and monitor the overall compliance of the contractor network in the areas of insurance, individual background screening, individual technician drug screening, business/trade licenses, etc.

Manage third party compliance vendor by maintaining positive relationship and execute company “best practices” that will maximize performance

Provide routine analysis and reports to leadership on both network and individual compliance performance, goals, and objectives

Identify/address non-compliant contractors. Work with contractors, Regional Operations Specialists, and Regional Operations Managers to elevate compliance issues

Maintain and control contractor profile maintenance and compliance status in SalesForce on a weekly basis

Meet KPI targets established by the company

Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Functions

Working with contractors and compliance vendor to collect and update contractor compliance requirements to ensure that compliance goals are met or exceeded.

Work cross departmentally to improve overall contractor compliance and address any compliance questions.

Generating reports and tracking of overall contractor network compliance.

Meet with and report compliance performance with operations leadership and business stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

At least 1 year of experience in Repair Management and demonstrates a good working knowledge of the Repair Management processes

At least 1 year of experience in Contractor Administration and demonstrates a good working knowledge of the Contractor Administration processes

Industry knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, gas and appliance repair is a plus.

Strong analytical, organizational, time management and project management skills.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to analyze problem situations and present appropriate solutions.

Demonstrated experience in multi-tasking and setting priorities.

Self-driven and demonstrates the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and displays initiative. Ability to learn, adapt quickly and commitment to teamwork.

Proficient/ advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
