From our headquarters in Libertyville, IL Snap-on Credit provides financing to technicians, students of automotive technical institutions, and shop owners for the purchase of Snap-on hand tools, power tools, tool storage, and diagnostic products through our Extended Credit program. Position Summary
Primary responsibilities will be to coordinate collections in the Subscription portfolio within the Specialty group. Position will be responsible for managing collections with customers, Franchisees and field personnel. Other duties will include managing cancellations and coordinating customer service needs with Franchisees and Snap-on Diagnostics. Focus will be on achievement of corporate delinquency and loss goals as well as customer retention. Major Responsibilities
Collection of Subscription accounts to achieve established Corporate goals Debtor direct collections Coordinate collection efforts with franchisees Manage cancellation requests per policy Report and recommend solutions on customer service issues Achieve delinquency/loss goals and metrics Answer field and customer questions Educate franchisees and field sales personnel on program features and benefits Assist with delinquency/loss reporting and tracking Work within other portfolios and projects as assigned by Director of Specialty Portfolios Qualifications
Requirements
1-3+ years of professional business experience Preferred
BS or BA degree or equivalent professional experience 1-3 years of credit and collections experience Business Understanding And Demonstrated Skills And Knowledge In
Credit and collections Credit laws and regulations Reporting requirements Communications – verbal and written Computer applications Skip Tracing Negotiation Characteristics
Approachable and responsive Proactive, Organized, Flexible Excellent work ethic Team player Goal oriented Effort
