Service Advisor Level 2 (Mid-Level)
Join our dynamic team at Community Automotive Repair in Grand Rapids, MI as a Full‑Time Service Advisor. This onsite position offers a thrilling opportunity to engage directly with customers, providing exceptional service and automotive repair insights. If you have a passion for customer service, sales, and import cars, this role allows you to combine those skills while earning an attractive salary range of $56,000–$78,200 per year, inclusive of commissions.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for customers, greeting them warmly and understanding their automotive repair needs.
Communicate service options and recommendations clearly and confidently.
Schedule appointments, perform follow‑ups, and ensure all customer inquiries receive prompt attention.
Accurately document service requests and generate repair orders.
Collaborate with technicians to relay necessary information and updates.
Handle calls, emails and texts, turning inquiries into appointments.
Qualifications
Strong customer service abilities and professionalism in person and over the phone.
Sound knowledge of automotive repair processes and the ability to use documentation software.
Proficiency in creating and managing Repair Orders, tracking parts, and maintaining accurate invoices.
Prior customer service or sales experience with strong math skills for pricing and markups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi‑line phone systems.
Valid driver’s license.
Essential Skills and Experience (Level 2)
Performs all Level I duties.
2–5 years of professional automotive service advising.
Capable of managing ~30 ROs at a time.
Able to perform basic scanning, ride‑along diagnostics, and handle complex repair orders.
ASE Service Consultant certification preferred.
Carrying 33–40 % workload while meeting scorecard metrics.
