Full Stack React/Python Developer

Insight Global's insurance client is looking for a seasoned Full Stack React/Python Developer to join their team. This tech-enabled and data driven firm is rapidly expanding. In just five years they have amassed nearly 500 employees. This person will be joining their Reinsurance team and will be responsible for building out new functionality - new screens, backend processes, visualizations, calcs, and modeling while maintaining the rest of the application. To accomplish this, they need a Full Stack Developer to lead architecture and design recommendations, provide guidance on best technology practices (frameworks and languages) and to lead/mentor Junior Developers on the product team. This candidate needs to be a self-starter, collaborative, and must possess strong communication skills. In addition, this Developer will be collaborating with the technology delivery manager, digital product managers, and other product team members to accurately capture stakeholder requests and system specifications, translating them into high quality systems solving real business problems within the organization. As part of an agile team, they will complete complex software development work involving creative application design, coding, and debugging methods and techniques. They will be working with testers, providing guidance to stakeholders, managing engineering risks, and staying up to date with new technology.
