About the Role

As the Lead Product Designer at FightCamp, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across our mobile app, with a strong focus on growing, engaging, and retaining our subscriber base. You'll bring a deep understanding of mobile-first design, gamification principles, and user engagement strategies to help elevate our product experience. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver engaging, user-centered experiences that drive product usage and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Design new features and enhancements for the FightCamp mobile app, focused on user engagement, retention, and subscription growth, centered around our in-app workout experience Apply gamification and interactive design techniques to create experiences that motivate users and deepen connection with the FightCamp platform Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define product requirements, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze behavioral data to inform design decisions and iterate quickly based on findings Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration between our app and FightCamp's connected hardware products Advocate for user needs throughout the product development process while balancing business objectives Help evolve and maintain FightCamp's design system to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms Requirements

6-10 years of product design experience, with a strong focus on mobile applications with a subscription/engagement component Demonstrated success designing consumer-facing apps that drive engagement, retention, and subscription metrics Strong expertise in Figma Deep knowledge of gamification strategies and best practices in mobile app UX/UI design Experience working with hardware-integrated products is a plus, but not required Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design thinking, beautiful interfaces, and results-driven outcomes Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative startup environments Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders
