Civil Operator Or Designer
Our Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) office is looking for a Civil Operator or Designer with 8+ years of experience to join our Roadway team! Responsibilities include implementing and managing drafting and plan preparation standards, developing technical drawings and plans, making and quality checking drawings and plans of substantial complexity, performing some multifaceted calculations, having knowledge of engineering principles and suggesting design changes, maintaining the drawing database, supervising and training CAD staff, coordinating work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control, and developing familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications include 8+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred), ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings, advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products, strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn, ability to work independently and with a team, willingness to mentor and teach others, detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.
