Job Summary KanEquip-Garden City has an immediate opening for a Service Writer to assist the Service Manager with administrative duties and repair orders for agriculture and construction equipment. Key Qualifications Experience in an agriculture equipment service department or an agricultural equipment dealership. Expertise with computer systems, including MS Office and internet‑based applications. Ability to work extended hours during the week or weekends as needed. Acceptable Motor Vehicle status: current driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicles; ability to travel to company meetings and training events as needed. Solid diagnostic and problem‑solving skills. Great customer service skills. Knowledge of agricultural operations – farming background preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and employees. Responsibilities Coordinate with the Service Manager to assign jobs to technicians according to their skill and knowledge. Assist in the supervision of technicians to ensure excellent customer experience. Communicate clearly with customers regarding service work and billing. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with the service team, other dealership staff, and vendors. Complete forms for service operations and warranty in a timely and accurate manner. Promote teamwork and communication through effective interaction with team members.
