ADTS (Alcohol & Drug Treatment Specialist) -
248477 Ventura, CA Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking a Registered or Certified ADTS to support two adult treatment programs in Ventura, CA. This is a field-based role working with justice-involved and community-based clients. You will always work as part of a team and receive supervision and support.
Position Overview This role is split between two programs: 1) Field-Based Program (FSP) – 60% Work directly with adult clients (18+) in the community Meet clients in various settings (home, clinic, park, etc.) Participate in mandatory daily treatment team meetings at 8:30 AM Run a weekly substance use group (SUS group) Provide case management and recovery support Always work with a team – never alone in the field 2) Forensic / Jail Program (ASAM) – 40% Work with adult clients in the jail setting Conduct ASAM assessments Visit jail 2–4 times per week depending on client volume Jail staff ensures safety and escorts clients to meetings Must complete LiveScan and obtain special jail clearance
Caseload Maximum of 10 clients Mix of field-based and forensic program clients
Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Business casual dress code
Required Qualifications Registered or Certified ADTS Valid driver’s license Active auto insurance Clean driving record Comfortable working with justice-involved populations Willing to complete LiveScan and jail clearance
Preferred Qualifications Spanish bilingual Experience in field-based treatment programs Experience working with justice-involved populations Familiarity with ASAM assessment tools
