Match Group is seeking an Analyst reporting to the Director of Global Revenue. This multi‑functional role works with all levels and all departments across Match Group (both domestic and international). You will use solid accounting knowledge along with problem‑solving skills to investigate, research solutions, and recommend process enhancements to make our whole Global Revenue system best‑in‑class.
When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our Dallas office 3 days/week.
How you’ll make an impact:
Provide support and training to users of our Global Revenue Reporting (executives and end‑users). Design and execute special data queries, reports, reconciliations, and analysis for Accounting, Tax, Finance, Internal and External Audit, SEC reporting, and other departments via SQL, VBA, Excel (Power Query), and similar tools. Evaluate and document business processes using narratives and flowcharts. Coordinate system updates including planning, execution, testing, and overall project management. Provide leadership in working with our Engineering team to develop meaningful reports. Lead work on current and new special projects such as revenue recognition, order to cash, and streamlining processes. Work with leaders across all Match brands to achieve uniformity of accounting data. Maintain “CPA” level knowledge of technical accounting and tax regulations. Design, create, implement, and manage solutions for compliance. Coordinate with IT experts for secure data transmissions and recovery. Collaborate with Audit to evaluate, manage, and recommend control solutions. We could be a Match if you have:
5+ years of accounting experience and experience working with accounting systems (implementation, report customizations, process flows). Experience with SQL, VBA, or other similar tools. Advanced Excel skills. Analytical skills to investigate, research, and resolve problems (account reconciliations, reporting inconsistencies, system errors, etc.) using the internet, knowledge bases, and outside consultants. Adaptability, flexibility, and the desire for a challenge and variety. Because 90% of our work is special‑project‑based, no two days are the same. Accounting or Finance degree – CPA a plus. $0- $0 a year The compensation range listed above is representative of the base salary offered.
