Position Overview We are one of the fastest-growing adhesive brands in the country, recognized for innovation, strong consumer demand, and exceptional performance across retail, DTC, and live/demo sales channels. As we continue to scale aggressively, we are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales to lead revenue growth, expand distribution, and build long-term strategic partnerships across key sales channels.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for a sales professional who thrives in high-growth environments. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with executional excellence—someone who can close deals, manage key accounts, build and lead teams, and help shape the next phase of brand expansion.

Role Overview The Director of Sales will own overall sales performance and revenue growth across all channels, with a strong focus on national retail, mass merchants, specialty retail, and strategic distribution partners. This role works closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure alignment between sales strategy, brand positioning, product innovation, and operational execution.

You will be responsible for setting the vision for sales growth, translating strategy into action, and ensuring consistent execution across channels and accounts.

Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive sustained revenue growth across retail, wholesale, and emerging channels

Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and revenue targets across all channels

Identify and pursue new domestic and international distribution opportunities

Evaluate channel performance and optimize mix to maximize growth and profitability

Retail & Key Account Management

Lead and manage relationships with major retail partners, including mass, hardware, club, and specialty accounts

Drive new item placement, line reviews, assortment expansions, and promotional programs

Negotiate pricing, terms, promotional support, volume commitments, and long-term agreements

Serve as the senior point of contact for key strategic accounts

Team Leadership & Development

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales organization

Establish clear KPIs, performance metrics, and accountability structures

Coach team members on selling strategy, account management, and execution excellence

Foster a results-driven, collaborative sales culture

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Marketing on product launches, promotions, demos, and go-to-market strategies

Collaborate with Product Development to identify new SKU opportunities based on customer feedback and market demand

Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure inventory readiness, forecasting accuracy, and flawless execution

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

Monitor the competitive landscape, category trends, pricing dynamics, and consumer behavior

Translate market insights into actionable growth initiatives and strategic recommendations

Identify white-space opportunities for innovation and expansion

Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of sales leadership experience within consumer products, hardware, home improvement, or CPG

Proven track record of scaling revenue with national retail and distribution partners

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior-level decision makers

Experience managing both key accounts and sales teams simultaneously

Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
