Target Pay Rate:

$78 - $88/ hour W2

About the Role A major multi‑hospital healthcare system in the Mid‑Atlantic is establishing a mission‑critical Azure Databricks Lakehouse to power clinical, financial, operational, and analytics use cases. We’re seeking a hands‑on Sr. Databricks Solutions Architect to lead platform architecture and governance, operational hardening, and DevOps enablement. Deliver a fully stable, secure, production‑ready Lakehouse that is hardened, observable, recoverable, and operationally mature. Feature expansion follows platform reliability.

Top Skills

Deep expertise in

Databricks architecture & governance

(Unity Catalog, workspaces, compute policies).

Reliability engineering : observability, alerting, DR readiness, backup/restore, performance tuning.

Strong experience with

ADF, CI/CD, Terraform

for orchestration and IaC.

Responsibilities

Architect and stabilize the Lakehouse; set standards for security, naming, and governance.

Build monitoring, alerting, and health dashboards; ensure platform reliability and DR readiness.

Strengthen ingestion pipelines (ADF → raw → curated); improve data quality and anomaly detection.

Manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub) and IaC with Terraform.

Partner with Security and FinOps on compliance and cost governance.

Mentor engineers and guide distributed teams on best practices.

Qualifications

5+ years in cloud data engineering or solution architecture.

Hands‑on Azure Databricks, ADF, SQL/Python, CI/CD, Terraform.

Healthcare experience preferred; strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
