Desktop Support Technician

in

Wilsonville, OR

Perks of the Job: • Monday-Friday, onsite • Flexible start time between 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM • Standard business hours

As a Desktop Support Technician, you will:

• Install, maintain, and optimize desktop and notebook configurations • Diagnose and resolve issues related to computers, Wi-Fi, printers, and mobile devices • Perform basic break/fix repairs (printers, desktops, laptops), onsite and remote • Maintain inventory of laptops, desktops, and computing devices • Schedule and process e?waste • Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and procedures • Manage the IT ticketing system, meeting all SLAs • Respond to IT Service Requests and Incidents across multiple sites • Configure, deploy, maintain, and relocate desktops, laptops, and peripherals • Troubleshoot virus, spyware, and connectivity issues • Collaborate with other IT teams (NetOps, Operations, Systems) • Communicate professionally with urgency and empathy • Participate in after?hours support rotation • Prioritize multiple tasks and projects • Adapt quickly to changing requirements • Work independently and as part of a team • Occasionally travel to other nearby locations • Document work and communicate clearly with end?users

opportunity with flexible start time between 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-4 years of IT support experience • College degree in IT and/or IT certifications (preferred but not required) • Intermediate knowledge of: - Windows Active Directory - VPN & Wi-Fi troubleshooting - User account & distribution list management • Experience with Windows OS and Office 365 • Experience using Remote Management tools • Familiarity with ITSM systems and SLAs • Ability to communicate with vendors and follow up on service requests • Understanding of MFP and print solutions • Ability to troubleshoot and debug network connectivity issues • Strong customer service, communication, and problem?solving skills • Ability to lift standard IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers) • Willingness to travel occasionally and work off?core hours

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Industry certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, etc.) • Experience supporting clean room environments • Experience supporting multi?site environments

Pay Rate:

$27.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
