Overview Manages the entire underwriting process for new clients from the initial receipt of application until the first funding.
Responsibilities Advance Partners, a Paychex‑backed financial services firm founded in 1998 and based in Cleveland, OH, empowers staffing agencies with payroll funding, invoice factoring, back office support, and strategic services. Please note: The person who fills this role will train/work in one of the local offices listed in the posting. After training they will be allowed to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home if desired.
The shift is Monday - Friday, approx. 8:30 am - 5:30 pm ET. (Hours in other time zones may be adjusted).

Researches and completes write‑ups of client condition and operating results on financial and credit information, and existing contracts to address client financial viability and credit worthiness to mitigate risk.
Researches guarantor's various financial and other related documents, such as individual tax returns, Equifax reports and personal financial statements to determine financial viability and credit worthiness of applicant.
Researches accounts receivable information for aging, concentration, and end debtors to determine financial viability and credit worthiness based on available financial and credit information.
Builds initial collateral file to be used during the credit approval process of a new client.
Reviews client and individual applications for completeness of information.
Ensures completeness and accuracy of all information included in the Client Approval Memorandum.
Guides and assists Sales team in process for collecting necessary information needed to qualify leads.
Assists Sales team as needed with deal structures and contract terms.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field - Preferred
Comparable work experience.
Understanding of basic finance and credit practices.
Requires ability to analyze data and understand business significance.
Compensation In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
