Commercial Portfolio Specialist – OneAZ Credit Union
We’re looking for a Commercial Portfolio Specialist who will manage all aspects of our existing commercial loan portfolio, ensuring portfolio quality, supporting risk management efforts, and providing ongoing reporting and analysis.
Location Corporate Office: 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027
Responsibilities
Complete periodic commercial loan and relationship reviews within established timelines.
Ensure loan files are current and complete, including all required financial and supporting documentation.
Spread and analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements.
Identify financial or operational exceptions and prepare related default communication.
Confirm borrower performance aligns with loan terms, including usage, indebtedness, and deposit expectations.
Maintain updated due diligence (UCC searches, background checks, credit reports, STR reports, etc.).
Tickler & Documentation Management
Oversee the accuracy and integrity of the financial document tickler system.
Distribute periodic tickler reports to lending staff and leadership.
Manage member correspondence related to upcoming and past due tickler items.
Renewals
Monitor maturing loans and communicate proactively with lenders.
Ensure updated financials and file documentation are complete prior to renewal.
Prepare renewal credit requests and support action plans for loans showing signs of deterioration.
Reporting & Analytics
Compile and prepare quarterly board reporting.
Support maintenance of the quarterly Problem Loan Report and weekly delinquency review.
Maintain interest rate stress testing reports.
Audit & Regulatory Support
Ensure loan portfolio files are audit‑ready for internal, regulatory, and third‑party reviews.
Maintain organized, well‑labeled files and ensure documentation gaps are accurately reflected in the tickler system.
Compliance
Adhere to all applicable policies, laws, and regulations, including BSA, AML, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC requirements.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3–5 years similar or related experience required.
Demonstrated experience with commercial lending, including term loans, commercial real estate, construction, SBA, and lines of credit.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate reporting.

Target hiring range $84-$105/K (depending on experience and prior to any incentives this position is eligible for)
