Summary The Relationship Banker I is responsible for conducting teller and cash vault transactions accurately and timely. The incumbent also provides exceptional customer service while adhering to bank policies, maintaining essential controls, and mitigating risk. They help customers achieve their financial goals through the sales and servicing of bank products, and work with the branch team to meet team and individual scorecard goals.
Principal Accountabilities
40%
Responsible for handling customer transactions and assisting with account‑related inquiries, maintaining and balancing cash drawers and vaults, and reconciling discrepancies.
15%
Identify the needs of new and existing customers and offer appropriate products and services.
10%
Assist with internal controls, daily report follow‑up, night depository deposits, and other operational duties as assigned.
10%
Consistently demonstrate the Bank’s Right by You quality standards by providing superior customer service.
10%
Mitigate losses through work accuracy and adherence to bank policies, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines.

Achieve individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned.

Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED with one year of cash handling and customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong relationship skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
Completed teller training classes.
Ability to passTransportation background check.
