Community Outreach Representative The Community Outreach Representative plans voordelen implement the activities of the Ohio Brain Injury Program, particularly the Star Behavioral Health Providers (SBHP) program within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Implement educational events and disseminate informational products.

Ensure overall SBHP program fidelity.

Foster communication among state collaborators, including scheduling, organizing, and facilitating meetings.

Oversee the provider database and maintain the website and provider registry.

Act as the point of contact for provider training.

Answer inquiries regarding the program.

Provide community education and marketing about SBHP.

Provide administrative support and assist with grant management.

Present at trainings or other meetings in the community.

Coordinate with Understanding at the Military Family Research Institute (MFRI) at Purdue University and other partners for data collection, data management, and program evaluation.

Maintain documents, notes, agendas, and other SBHP program documents for archival purposes.

Collaborate with the Director of the Ohio Brain Injury Program to sustain program funding.

Travel periodically to coordinate in‑person training events in Ohio.

Some Saturday work may be required.

Familiarity with military culture is desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Advanced degree in a relevant field may be desirable.

4 years of relevant experience required; 4‑8 years preferred.

Location: Dodd Hall (0171) – Position Type: Regular – Scheduled Hours: 40 – Shift: First Shift.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
