About the Role We're looking for a

Sales Engineer (SE)

to partner closely with our SMB Sales team to help customers understand how our product solves their business problems. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing and Customer Success, focusing on use-case discovery, solution positioning and customization, and handoff to Implementation.

You'll work with small and mid-sized businesses to translate their needs into clear, simple solutions, support demos, answer functional questions, and help deals move forward efficiently.

What You'll Do

Partner with Account Executives to support discovery, qualification and product demos

Translate customer business needs into clear, easy-to-understand product solutions

Answer functional and workflow questions, including understanding basic API integrations

Help customers understand how the product fits their business today and as they grow

Address common objections around fit, complexity, pricing, and change management

Act as a customer advocate by sharing product needs, enhancements and other relevant feedback with the Product team

Maintain strong working knowledge of product features and roadmap themes

Support the development of the Product Marketing strategy and its execution via conference attendance and thought leadership activities such as webinars and speaking engagements

What You'll Bring

2-5 years of experience in

Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Pre-Sales

Experience supporting

SMB or mid-market customers in SaaS product sales

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain software concepts simply and in a storytelling manner

Experience working alongside

quota-carrying sales reps

Basic understanding of SaaS concepts (subscriptions, integrations, workflows)

Experience collaborating cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing and Product

Familiarity with basic API concepts and integrations preferred

Experience in the pet care industry a plus
