Teller/Personal Banker
Overview Start Your Career with Citizens Alliance Bank! The Teller/Personal Banker position will provide professional and knowledgeable assistance to all customers. They will receive calls and respond to customer inquiries and concerns. The Teller/Personal Banker will handle all functions of personal banking, new accounts, inquiries and problem accounts in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating professional and knowledgeable assistance to all customers.
Receive calls and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
Handle daily transactions and questions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
Handle all functions of personal banking, new accounts, inquiries and problem accounts.
Be flexible in dealing with the needs of customers, team members, and departments.
Serve as an advocate of the Bank, promote the Bank’s products, services, and overall brand.
Perform transaction processing through a teller platform, including verifying incoming cash, dispensing cash, accepting deposits and payments.
Assist with end‑of‑day processing and check imaging, ensuring accuracy before submission.
Provide account information, answer customer inquiries, and complete telephone transfers.
Open all types of new deposit accounts, resolve problems, and show customers how to manage their products and services.
Use effective selling techniques to promote and sell additional products and services.
Proactively pursue potential customers and recognize quality potential customers through interviewing.
Conduct all required documentation in compliance with bank policy and banking regulations.
Maintain knowledge of the bank’s products and services to build long‑term customer relationships.
Maintain internal service standards and procedures for the department.
Read, interpret, and apply appropriate policies, procedures, or operating manuals.
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive customer and proprietary information.
Remain in a standing or stationary position 50% of the time; occasionally lift 30 pounds.
Submit to training and performance reviews, adhere to MFA requirements, and comply with BSA/AML regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Education and Experience Required:
High School diploma or GED; Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge.
Preferred:
1 to 3 years of banking experience; 1 to 3 years of administrative or customer service experience; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
