Ames Collision Center
Ames Collision is currently looking for skilled and experienced auto body technicians to join our expanding collision shop. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the collision repair industry, with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Duties
Assess damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair process.
Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
Remove & install upholstery, accessories, electrical, window equipment to gain access for repairs.
Communicate with management on any supplemental damages, or setbacks that could affect the quality or cause delay on the repair and repair process.
Qualifications
Ability to read and follow repair procedures.
Must have knowledge and experience with European vehicles.
Skilled in analyzing damage.
Preferred I-CAR certifications.
OEM certification.
Welding certification.
A-Tech autobody technician
