Job Description Summary
The Custom Onboarding Sales Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization for Forward Air by managing customer data, CRM systems, and onboarding processes. This position serves as the primary owner of sales systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy, system alignment, and smooth onboarding of new sales team members. The role also supports compliance, reporting, and customer payment processes, working closely with sales enablement and cross‑functional teams to drive operational efficiency and data integrity. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain customer and sales data within Sylectus and Atlas for Tiger and Millhouse. Serve as CRM owner for both organizations, including system alignment, user training, and coordination of reporting with Sales Enablement. Act as the designated CTPAT representative, supporting compliance‑related activities and documentation. Oversee sales coding, system clean‑up, and ongoing data management to ensure accuracy and consistency. Coordinate and execute new sales onboarding, including system access, training support and process alignment. Process and manage customer credit card payments in accordance with company policies and procedures. Job Requirements
2+ years of experience in sales administration, sales operations, or a similar support role. Experience managing CRM platforms and sales databases (Sylectus, Atlas, or comparable systems preferred). Strong understanding of sales operations, data management and reporting processes. Ability to train users and support CRM adoption across sales teams. High attention to detail with strong organizational and data integrity skills. Experience handling customer payments or financial transactions preferred. Familiarity with CTPAT compliance or willingness to learn. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments. Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
