Belden is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business development of our broadband, cable, and fiber products throughout the Mid‑Atlantic Territory (PA, NY, NJ, MD, DE, VA, WV, DC) to telecommunications, utilities, municipalities, and government markets.

Responsibilities

Maintain and grow sales within the designated territory of broadband customers by providing sales and service to both new and existing accounts in the telecommunications (wireless and wireline), utilities, and municipalities markets.

Maintain effective customer relationships through timely, professional, courteous, and accurate responses. Provide technical training and support to customers as needed.

Develop and maintain long‑term customer relationships through support activities.

Serve as a representative at trade activities within the assigned territory, including trade shows, conferences, and meetings.

Provide the Sales Leadership with timely information pertaining to product quality issues, training, customer concerns, competitive information, budgetary variances, new prospects, and territory progress against goals.

Utilize CRM for forecasting, account activity, and funnel growth.

Manage Rep Firms in territory as appropriate.

Required Skills & Experience

Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree in a related field (highly preferred) with three (3) or more years of field sales experience, preferably in telecommunications, fiber, and/or optical product sales. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Work Environment – Must be able to travel 50% of the time overnight (Monday‑Friday typical). This position will require the Regional Sales Manager to maintain a remote office.

Compensation and Benefits Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $120,000–135,000 annually, plus a Sales Incentive Plan. Bear in mind that this is a reasonable estimate of what Belden believes it might pay for this role based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting; actual compensation may differ.
