Salary: $80,000 - $200,000 per year

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Manage sales and business development within the Appalachian coal mining region (VA, WV, KY, PA, IN)
Build and maintain relationships with mining operators, contractors, and engineering firms
Sell medium/high voltage power systems, custom switchgear, and modular substations
Collaborate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and EPC teams to scope and deliver turnkey solutions
Develop strategic territory plans and meet sales goals for revenue and margin growth
Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events
Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client applications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field)
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in mining, heavy industrial, or power systems markets
Proven success selling engineered‑to‑order capital equipment or electrical infrastructure solutions
Familiarity with medium/high voltage systems (1kV–345kV)
Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex bids
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Self‑motivated with a hunter mentality and regional travel flexibility
