About the Opportunity IGN is looking for a National Sales Manager to support our Consumer sales vertical in our East region, based in New York City. With this role, we are looking for an energetic seller – someone who is extremely motivated, a self‑starter, and hungry to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

Job Responsibilities

Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets based on your account list. To be successful, you’ll be strategic when finding opportunities to find new brand partners. At the same time, working with current advertisers to see how else we can help with their marketing objectives with the ultimate goal of driving revenue.

Collaborate with an extremely high functioning Account Executive and a Sales Coordinator. Together, the team will help make sure that we are always putting our advertisers first – delivering the best possible marketing campaigns.

Exceptional ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with different internal departments including Ad Operations, Creative Services, Social, and Content.

Ability to pull together a comprehensive proposal or campaign pitch by using IGN’s 360 media solutions (targeted media, custom content, influencer marketing, experiential).

Create and present sales collateral with strong positioning to showcase IGN media solutions as best in class.

Take a consultative approach with clients and agencies, acting as a partner to help create the best marketing campaigns while representing IGN with a high level of integrity and knowledge.

Focus on growing, building and strengthening relationships with key contacts at both agency and client direct levels.

Ability to learn and sell cross‑platform solutions including IGN Display (Desktop/Mobile), Video, Events, Branded Content, Social, Programmatic, and Data solutions.

Ability to learn new systems and platforms quickly to keep up with the evolving digital media landscape.

Track and manage revenue pipeline.

Strong presentation and written/oral communication skills required.

Job Requirements

Experience being the primary sales representative for a designated territory.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Think creatively, sell strategically, and strong communication skills.

You’ve got a positive, problem‑solving attitude.

You’re a team‑player with an outsized sense of fun.

Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.

Strong desire to win, and to continually develop personal and professional skills.

Ability to juggle multiple account challenges at once.

You’ve successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously.

You communicate clearly and effectively.

Role Structure

Work Schedule:

Full‑time position working Monday through Friday. Expectation to work outside of a standard schedule from time to time for client needs and events, and campaign reporting.

Travel Requirements:

Domestic and international travel required for client meetings, client entertainment, team meetings, and industry events.

Physical Requirements:

Typical office and computer‑based activities, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing and frequent use of hands, fingers, and vision for tasks such as operating a computer, mouse, and keyboard. Occasional travel required, which could include lifting and carrying materials, and navigating airports, hotels, and other venues. Work Model:

Hybrid role that works out of the New York City office 3 days each week.

Salary Salary Disclosure: Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $110,000, plus incentive compensation, 401(k) with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long‑term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
