Key Accounts Manager at International Medical Industries, Inc. Duties and Responsibilities

Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent communication and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Relationship Building: Develop deep relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers within each account to understand their business needs and align solutions accordingly.

Travel regularly (approximately 50%) to client sites, industry events, and company meetings to maintain relationships, support account growth, and deliver presentations and demonstrations.

Strategic Planning: Create and execute account plans that drive retention, growth, and profitability.

Problem Solving: Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally, coordinating with internal teams as needed.

Performance Monitoring: Track account performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare regular reports for internal and client review.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with customer service and operations to ensure seamless service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.

Contract Management: Support contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance for house accounts.

Maintain and expand the company's database through use of CRM and ERP systems.

Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales actions to existing clients.

Attend periodic sales training where applicable and maintain current knowledge of products and industry trends.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

University or college degree, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

5+ years’ experience in account management, customer success, or sales, preferably with high‑value or strategic accounts.

Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.

Strong knowledge of B2B sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.

Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills with excellent listening skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.

Analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.

High level of integrity and work ethic.

Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the medical device or healthcare technology industry.

Relevant experience utilizing CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.

Physical / Mental Demands

Work requires frequent travel (approximately 50%), including client visits, sales meetings, industry events, and training sessions.

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Work may require occasional weekend and evening work to meet sales targets.

Physical activity includes sitting for extended periods, walking, standing, and lifting to 25 pounds.

Work under stress in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment.

Must be alert, able to concentrate, maintain focus during extended phone conversations, and use good judgment in sales situations.
