Strategic Account Manager
Nordson Test & Inspection, a global leader in X‑Ray & Test Systems and Optical Sensors & Metrology, is seeking a highly motivated individual to drive growth by increasing market share within key strategic accounts.
Job Summary Drive growth by increasing market share within key strategic accounts—including key customers and strategic focus segments. Represent the full Nordson X‑Ray and Test product range, build strong professional relationships, and win new business. Coordinate internal teams, provide monthly business updates, maintain forecasts in CRM, nightly and ensure alignment with Nordson’s Go‑To‑Market strategy.
Key Account Ownership & Strategic Management
Take full ownership & responsibility for designated Key Accounts at all levels.
Coordinate all activity in the Key Account and report to Management.
Map Key Account organizations, key locations, decision‑makers and establish penetration plans.
Work closely with Regional Sales Directors and Divisional VP on account strategies.
Collaborate with other Key Account Managers to apply best practices globally.
Customer Relationship & Value Proposition
Promote the Divisional Value Proposition across the division to win profitable business.
Position Nordson as the preferred supplier across multiple facilities.
Ensure Nordson is presented positively at Executive level and open revenue opportunities at local level Supervisor level.
Drive outstanding Customer Satisfaction measured through VOC programs and regular inputs.
Cross‑Functional & Global Collaboration
Manage internal resources (Applications, Sales, Service, Leadership, etc.) to penetrate opportunities and win business.
Co‑ordinate resources globally where applicable.
Share progress and successes with local resources regularly to maintain buy‑in and excellent support.
Work with Divisional resources to ensure profitable revenue, profitable order bookings and optimised working capital.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Work with Leadership Team and Legal Group to ensure export complianceજબ, contractual compliance, and all legal regulations are met.
Communicate delivery expectations clearly and concisely internally and with the customer.
Forecasting, Reporting & CRM Management
Maintain project pipeline weekly, ensuring key opportunities are up to date in the CRM and maintain customer data in C4C.
Provide accurate and timely forecasts (12‑month rolling) through CRM tools.
Essential Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales / key account management for capital equipment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
Experience in solution selling to large multinational accounts.
High technical capability to sell complex electronic solutions.
English fluency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven चिन ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Planning and forecasting skills.
CRM proficiency (e.g., C4C).
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Excellent analytical capability and data‑driven decision making.
Excellent negotiation skills.
