Job Overview Mobile Associates drive sales, provide exceptional customer experiences, and meet quality-of‑sale metrics by engaging customers, recommending solutions, and ensuring smooth onboarding through digital tools.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a high‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate, demonstrate, and showcase T‑Mobile value.
Consistently leverage digital self‑serve tools during interactions and onboarding; recommend wireless and onboarding solutions to deepen customer relationships.
Complete all training in T‑Mobile’s in‑store experience, products, processes, and systems; maintain readiness through regular personal results review and promotion of current promotions.
Operate as a customer‑obsessed ambassador—friendly, engaging, and building rapport; capture referrals, manage “Be Back” processes, and perform price overrides for specialty offers.
Collaborate with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience, from account set‑up to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or GED (required)
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Customer‑satisfaction oriented, passionate advocate for balancing experience and performance goals.
Team‑builder, eager to collaborate with peers and store leaders while sharing best practices.
Competitive drive and confidence for fast‑paced sales environments.

Hourly Base Pay $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay; after 90 days, eligible for hourly training pay and promotion to Mobile Expert with annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives, and are eligible for an annual stock grant.
