Position Purpose This safety sensitive position is responsible for the leasing and marketing function of the property. It assists the Community Manager with the overall operational and financial success of the residential property and exceeds resident service standards.
Key Contributions
Financial/Marketing: Support the Community Manager by achieving occupancy and rental goals. Maintain a closing percentage of at least 30% and reach prospective residents through advertising and tours.
Management: Assist the Community Manager with overall operations, handling resident complaints, rent collections, and staff supervision to promote teamwork.
Property Appearance/Upkeep: Keep the property neat and well‑maintained. Conduct daily interior and exterior inspections to ensure curb appeal and safety.
Customer Service: Meet and exceed company standards for resident satisfaction, be available on a 24‑hour emergency basis as scheduled, and plan community activities.
Essential Mental Alertness Requirements
Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgment.
Not mentally or physically impaired in any way that could affect safety or performance.
Take prompt and appropriate response to operating conditions.
Work in an unfatigued state.
Accurately gauge lengths of time and distance.
Quickly store and recall instructions in short‑term memory.
Concentrate effectively.
Cope with sudden changes in surrounding environments and/or emergency situations.
Demonstrate a caring, committed, and concerned attitude about safety.
Position Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
Experience:
2‑3 years of customer service or related experience.
Physical & Cognitive:
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
If the job includes or may include driving for company business, drivers must:
Have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record with company insurance carrier.
Have reliable means of transportation.
Be insurable at standard rates for driving.
Provide proof of personal auto liability insurance when using company vehicles.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.
