Have real influence—serve as a trusted senior leader representing the Authority on key building initiatives and investments. Develop strategic rehabilitation programs for building infrastructure and systems. Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems, including energy management programs, to enhance airport operations and reduce costs. Represent the Authority in interaction with airlines, other tenants and federal agencies on building infrastructure and systems and associated operational matters. Develop and oversee architectural, engineering, construction, and procurement‑related contracts and agreements. Review technical content and operational requirements in construction plans, specifications, and project manuals for compliance with program objectives, budget, and schedule. Monitor adequacy of private sector firms and employees. Research, negotiate, and facilitate resolution of disputes between contracting parties. Assist legal counsel in preparing complex legal agreements and resolving disputes. Participate as a member of a response team to support other divisions during emergencies and irregular operations. Keep executive level staff fully informed of all department initiatives, industry initiatives and activities that affect organizational policy.
