What We Are Looking For VML is seeking a Creative Director, Copy to lead the creative vision for one of our largest and most dynamic global partners in the CPG space. You are a master storyteller and a strategic thinker who can transform a simple brief into a culture-defining campaign. You will be instrumental in shaping the voice of iconic household brands, driving work that is not only creatively brilliant but also deeply connected to our client’s business goals. This is an opportunity to produce high-impact work on a global scale and inspire a team to do the same.
What You’ll Do
Lead the conceptualization and execution of innovative, integrated campaigns from brief to final production across all channels, including film, digital, and social media.
Develop and champion a distinct and compelling brand voice, with a proven talent for comedic writing and engaging storytelling.
Drive the creation of proactive, social-first ideas that capture consumer attention, generate conversation, and build brand affinity.
Collaborate closely with strategy, account, and production partners to ensure creative work is strategically sound, on-brand, and flawlessly executed.
Present and sell creative concepts to senior clients, building trust and fostering a partnership built on a shared ambition for excellence.
Mentor and guide a team of copywriters, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creative risk-taking and professional growth.

What You’ll Need
Extensive experience in a creative leadership role with a strong portfolio of work, demonstrating strategic and conceptual thinking.
Significant experience with major CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) brands is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in comedic writing and creating engaging, social-first campaigns.
Deep knowledge of the film and content production process from start to finish.
A proactive and ambitious mindset with a passion for making new, innovative work.
A portfolio that includes award-winning or highly recognized creative work is a strong plus.
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is $100,000 — $230,000 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
