What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Serve as the primary resource for the sales team on technical seed portfolio strategy and execution
Plan and conduct local training sessions and conferences to enhance seed product knowledge among staff and retailers
Collaborate with Market Development Agronomist and Sales Development Managers to create effective seed selling tools
Oversee local on-farm trials and develop demo designs in partnership with the Market Development Agronomist
Assess local market needs and forecast production requirements in collaboration with seed portfolio managers
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a business‑related field with 5+ years of industry experience
Proven experience in coaching, training, and making technical agronomic decisions
Strong understanding of seed crop growth, development, and environmental factors affecting productivity
Ability to build working relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Must possess a current and valid state driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in developing educational materials on agronomy products
Familiarity with proprietary and partnered seed brands
Previous experience in sales roles within the agricultural sector
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and make timely decisions
