Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

TWP is seeking an Embellishment Designer to lead the design for the design and development of all embellishment, beading and embroidery for TWP collections. Working closely with the Creative Director, this role translates the seasonal concept into refined embellishment details, overseeing development from initial artwork through production to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with the creative direction.

Key Responsibilities

Development of beading and embellishment, working closely with Creative director to execute the vision for the season. This includes but not limited to developing new swatches in multiple colorways, creating original beading layouts in Adobe illustrator, CAD embellishments into styles for review before launching styles.

Work closely with beading factories to maintain vision, high quality standards. This includes daily email communication and weekly vendor calls with factories to review and maintain WIP.

Highly motivated in bringing new beading ideas, concepts, and techniques to the table, continually pushing forward each season.

Meet with beading mills to develop swatches and artwork that relate to the concept for the season

Research market trends, and new beading techniques.

Maintain embellishment library for reference and future use.

Able to multi-task, and work on multiple styles and embellishments with multiple factories.

Assist in production approvals and fitting for embellished styles.

Work cross-functionally to develop new silhouettes for embellishments. This includes meeting with in-house Tech/ Patternmakers and also local patternmakers.

Maintain weekly meetings with Product Development department about current season styles being launched and that are in work.

Skills

Prior beading experience is a must. 3-4 Years preferred.

Understanding of high end beading materials, trends, and techniques

Ability to work well with multiple team members and manage multiple tasks

Strong organizational skills

Team player

Communicates effectively and professionally with counterparts

Ability to take direction and follow through with assigned responsibilities

Detail oriented

Strong understanding of the TWP aesthetic

Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Excellent CAD skills are essential for the fast-paced development process. Strong knowledge of patterns and construction of garments.

Strong knowledge of fabric and drape and what fabrics will work with particular embellishments.
