The Production Manager is a key member of the Manufacturing team. This individual is responsible for planning, organizing and leading production to ensure that products are safely produced with the expected quality, lead time, and cost to meet all manufacturing goals. This is a well‑supported, team environment and a full‑time position with normal working hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 4:00 pm. The position reports to the Director of Manufacturing.
Location:
West of Minneapolis, MN. This is an onsite position; only local applications will be considered.
Salary Range:
$85,000 to $128,000

Roles & Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and lead production operations to ensure products are manufactured safely, on time, within quality standards, and at targeted cost and labor efficiency levels.
Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards, leading by example, and partnering with the EHS to develop and sustain safety initiatives.
Lead production teams through supervisors and production leads, providing clear direction, coaching, performance management, and talent development. Three supervisors from three departments/areas report to this position. Around 100 full‑time employees on this person’s team.
Drive a continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing culture focused on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and employee engagement.
Ability to demonstrate the use, implementation and sustainability of Lean principles within a high‑volume, high‑mix manufacturing environment.
Support new product introductions, equipment installations, and process changes to ensure successful implementation mercantile and ramp‑up.
Achieve production schedules through effective staffing, equipment uptime, material availability, and operational efficiency.
Establish, monitor, and act on key production performance metrics, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Partner cross‑functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering MGA; Sales, and Customer Service to support business objectives and exceptional customer service.
Support equipment reliability and cost control through preventive maintenance collaboration, standard operating procedures, and waste reduction initiatives.
Communicate production priorities, results, and changes clearly across teams and departments, supporting organizational change and growth.
Ability to demonstrate the use, implementation, accuracy and sustainability of shop floor data collection using a high‑level business system (NetSuite experience preferred).
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration შემდეგ, management, engineering, industrial technology preferred.
6 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Lean Manufacturing.
Experience working with data, software, and Microsoft Officeključ.
Experience in manufacturing environment with either converting, painting or metal forming helpful.
Bilingual helpful (Spanish speaking).
