Associate Marketing Manager
working in
Chicago, IL , you will join the Shopper Marketing Team. You will be accountable for leading the design, communication and evaluation of brand‑specific programmes and channel‑specific solutions that are rooted in brand, shopper and channel insights. These solutions must be easy for sales, distributor and retail partners to execute, as well as deliver value, revenue and growth for our customers, our distributors and Molson Coors. This role reports to the Sr. Manager Shopper Marketing and works very closely with internal and external stakeholders across the value chain to deliver solutions that foster profitable growth for retailers and help expand MCBC’s share of category and channel. What You’ll Be Brewing:
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to create creative, insight‑based programmes that connect with shoppers. Own status meetings with external agencies, managing it from brief development through sharp creative and strategic feedback. Partner with sales, collaborating with customer and field teams across programme development, concluding with effective storytelling and system communications. Generate unique, engaging sell‑stories and brand and category solutions grounded in shopper insights to deliver best‑in‑class programmes across the portfolio. Serve as programme owner, staying connected with sales to ensure effective execution. Analyze and present business results for programmes and respective brands (volume, market share, distribution), using outcomes to inform future strategic decisions. Demonstrate strong leadership, curiosity, problem‑solving capacity, exceptional project management, initiative to advance projects, accountability and empathy in collaboration. Exhibit creativity aimed at simple yet unique solutions that resonate with shopper needs. Embrace challenges, completing complex projects swiftly and with a deep appreciation for business priorities. Build relationships, collaborate toward desired outcomes. Take accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales & marketing, or a related field, OR equivalent experience (3+ years) in marketing/sales with high‑profile CPG brands. Experience in sales and/or marketing, including the management of channel and retail programmes. Experience in managing the creative process with agency partners and integrating insights from Brand along with value‑chain stakeholders in Sales and Local Marketing. Experience conducting financial and business analysis, retrieving and analysing data and managing budgets. Demonstrated commitment to people, planet and community, supporting stretch goals around key priorities.
