Position Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and via text that is friendly, helpful, fast, and accurate.
Maintain and grow existing customer base.
Build relationships with customers: answer customer questions and ask follow‑up questions to determine their needs.
Provide post‑sale customer support, including follow‑ups, troubleshooting, invoice concerns, etc.
Work closely with sales team, sales managers, pricing and purchasing team to determine proper pricing.
Act as an extension of the outside sales force to proactively grow product sales.
Maintain profitable standards.
Inform and explain ongoing and upcoming special promotions, programs, and spiffs.
Process customer payments, returns, and credits.
Suggest, promote, sell, and upsell products to increase sales volume.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product lines, purchasing notes, flyers, trade magazines.
Perform job safely, follow all safety guidelines.
Seek ways to improve the overall customer experience.
Follow all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Experience / Knowledge Requirements
Previous customer service required (2–3 years).
Previous inside or outside sales preferred.
Previous HVAC, plumbing, electrical products knowledge (2–3 years).
Ability to use Outlook, Teams, MS Office, Text, Internet.
Familiar with ProKeep, IBMi a plus.
