Community Engagement Research Navigator
Serve as Community Engagement Research Navigator for the Northern New England Clinical and Translational Research (NNE-CTR) Network, which includes MaineHealth (MH), the University of Vermont (UVM), and the University of Southern Maine (USM). The NNE-CTR Network is a large, multi‑site program whose mission is to develop and sustain a clinical and translational research infrastructure that supports improvement in rural and community health for residents of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
Responsibilities
Foster collaborations across diverse geographic areas and research projects on varied topics.
Serve as a catalyst for community engagement in translational research, working with stakeholders across a model of engagement.
Facilitate T3 (translation to practice) and T4 (translation to population health) research with clinicians in practice sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Three to five years of experience in a relevant field.
Ability to educate learners in all aspects of research.
Extensive knowledge of statistical principles and methods, and proficiency with computers, databases, and computer‑based analysis packages for research (SAS, SPSS, or Stata preferred).
Ability to function independently and facilitate projects through all phases of development and implementation.

Travel to and from work sites required.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy.

Standard Hours at 1.0 FTE: 37.5 hours per week.
