ASSISTANT PUBLIC DEFENDER
KNOX COUNTY PUBLIC DEFENDER’S COMMUNITY LAW OFFICE
Assistant Public Defender- Knox County Public Defender’s Community Law Office is a national leader in holistic and client-centered public defense. We are seeking an attorney who values helping people, is a tenacious advocate, and enthusiastic about working to improve the criminal legal system.
Responsibilities
Represent indigent adult clients in both the General Sessions and Criminal Courts of Knox County, Tennessee.
Qualifications
Applicants should be licensed in Tennessee or eligible for reciprocity.
Demonstrated tenacity and enthusiasm for improving the criminal legal system.
Applications should be submitted to Suzanne Petty at spetty@pdknox.org. Materials will be reviewed and interviews conducted on a rolling basis.
