CBH Homes
The Mission
Are you a recent grad or an AutoCAD whiz looking to jumpstart your career in residential architecture? We're looking for an
Entry-Level Production Drafter
who is ready to learn the ropes of the homebuilding industry. You'll work directly under our Design Manager, learning how to take master designs and turn them into real-world homes.
The Vibe We've built a culture where we
work hard and have a ton of fun . We're a high-energy team that moves fast and hits deadlines, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. If you're hungry to learn, ready to hustle, and want an office where the energy is always high, this is the place for you.
What You'll Learn & Do
Drafting Foundations: Assist in preparing lot-specific construction sets and learning how to incorporate buyer options
Master the Library: Help maintain our master plan database while learning the "ins and outs" of residential code and construction standards
CAD Optimization: Sharpen your AutoCAD skills by working with professional-grade X-Refs, Dynamic Blocks, and Sheet Sets
Field Knowledge: See your drawings come to life! You'll learn how to spot potential issues before they ever hit the job site.
Requirements What You Bring to the Table
AutoCAD Fundamentals: You know your way around the software and can navigate a drawing with ease
Eagerness to Learn: You're a sponge for information and want to understand how a house actually goes together (wood-frame construction, IRC codes, etc.)
Detail Obsessed: You might be new, but you're precise. You take pride in clean lines and organized files
The "Can-Do" Attitude: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, love a challenge, and enjoy being part of a team that wins together
Ready to work hard, play hard, and start your career building great homes?
Benefits
100% Employer - paid quality Health Care Plan that includes Medical, Dental, Vision
Competitive Wages
Quarterly bonus program
Retirement Plans + employer match
Paid Time Off
