YOUR IMPACT We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design both eLearning and instructor‑led solutions within the Asset Wealth Management Team. Ideal candidates bring experience designing and developing learning content aligned to business objectives. In this role, the candidate will be required to manage multiple projects, collaborate with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to identify training needs, design and develop impactful learning solutions, measure the effectiveness of the learning solutions implemented, and partner with facilitators to drive continuous improvement. This role may also require mentoring and coaching of others. The right candidate will be a proactive, organized self‑starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at navigating ambiguity, and creates clarity and cohesive learning experiences from complex business needs.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable learning solutions that directly enhance the capabilities of our learners, driving key business objectives such as client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation
Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify skill and knowledge gaps, document business requirements, and draft measurable learning objectives
Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Gagne's Nine Events) to design, develop and maintain comprehensive learning solutions (eLearning, instructor‑led, blended learning, videos & simulations, etc.)
Utilize authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite to build engaging learning content
Manage learning content within the firm's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring proper deployment, tracking, and reporting
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and improve existing learning content and partner with facilitators to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, process owners, SMEs, legal, and compliance to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and effective
Stay current with trends and innovations in learning technology and instructional design, advocating for integrating new approaches to enhance our learning ecosystem
Qualifications
Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory
Demonstrated expertise in the full instruction lifecycle (ADDIE/SAM)
Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, especially the Articulate Suite
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously, translating high‑level strategic direction into concrete project plans and deliverables
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or related field
3+ years in an instructional design role in a corporate or financial services setting
APTD or CPTD Certification
Experience in financial services or the fintech industry
Experience working in or supporting a contact center
Familiarity with Agile project‑management methodologies
Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG) standards
